Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct was adopted at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Football Club COOL – Zdravje and applies to all individuals directly or indirectly involved in the development of the club. Regardless of your role in the club—children players, referees, coaches, club staff, parents, guardians, supporters, etc.—you are expected to follow the Code of Conduct during, before, and after matches, training sessions, and other events related to the club.
Any violation of the rules will be subject to disciplinary action. Therefore, we want to inform all individuals directly or indirectly involved in the club about the contents of the Code.
We all know that football is becoming increasingly popular worldwide, both among adults and children. Football is a team game that, besides its sporting elements, develops children’s sense of belonging, equality, trust, and loyalty.
Children – Players
- Play according to the rules of the game
- Respect the referees and their decisions; if there are any objections, inform your captain or coach during the break or halftime
- Control your behavior—arguments with the coach, teammates, opponents, referees, or other persons involved in the match, as well as intentional provocation, are strictly forbidden
- Fight equally for yourself and for your team
- Be a good sportsman and support every good move—by your team or the opponents—with applause or praise
- Treat other players the way you want to be treated; do not use unfair moves or boycott other players
- Wear the appropriate club sports equipment
- Cooperate with your coach, teammates, other club members, and opposing players
- Be humble in victory and dignified in defeat
- Shake hands with opponents and referees at the end of each match
Coaches
- Remember that children participate for enjoyment and that winning is only part of the fun
- Act within the framework of the rules of football
- Never ridicule a child for making a mistake or losing a game

- Consider the demands you place on each player individually
- Every player is part of the team, and you should treat them as such
- All players deserve equal attention and opportunities; avoid favoring talented players over others
- Be familiar with the rules of football and the rules of the competition your team is playing in
- Never engage in arguments with players, referees, other coaches, or spectators
- Demonstrate self-control, respect, and professionalism, and encourage your players to follow your example

Parents/Guardians
- Remember that children play for their own enjoyment, not yours
- Encourage your child to play but do not pressure them
- Encourage your child to play fair, within the rules, and in the spirit of the game

- Never mock or yell at your child for making a mistake or losing a game
- Respect the decisions of referees and teach your child to do the same
